Leishmaniasis is among the most neglected tropical diseases. More than 90 countries are affected by this critical public health concern, predominantly in low- and middle-income nations. Since it was first reported as endemic in Sudan, it still represents a public health concern. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the knowledge and awareness of medical students at the University of Kordofan towards the disease.

Detection of Microsatellite Markers (LOH) in Urine Samples from Sudanese Patients with Cervical Cancer

Cervical cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related death in women globally. Early discovery of cervical cancer is largely curable; delayed detection lowers survival rates. The current study examined whether microsatellite markers could detect cervical cancer-associated genetic changes in urine samples.

The complex interplay of physical, social, and psychological factors in refugee camps can significantly impair individuals' personal hygiene. Therefore, the present study aimed to assess the association between education level and personal hygiene among displaced individuals during the Sudanese war (2023–2026).
